Medical Skin Needling is an exciting treatment which has been shown to:

The process of Medical Skin Needling utilizes a device normally used for micro pigmentation, which allows for varying speeds and needle combinations. We have found that different scars, such as pit, boxcar and rolling respond to various methods. This provides a highly customized approach for individual scars. We have found improved results compared to Dermal Rollers for certain types of scars. Each patient is unique, and requires treatment which takes into consideration factors such as health history, Fitzpatrick Type, and overall motivation to adhere to an ongoing program for maximum results.

Skin Needling can treat individual scars or larger areas. Down time for this procedure is generally three to five days. Multiple treatments are usually necessary to achieve significant improvement in the appearance and depth of lines and scars. Treatment effects are cumulative and will usually be seen within 6-8 weeks of each treatment. Medical Skin Needling is often combined with a program of Chemical Peels/Medical Microdermabrasion to enhance collagen production, Fractional Laser to tighten skin and improve scarring, and Photo rejuvenation with IPL to even pigmentation and texture.
